Anonymity Sense does not send input to external AI APIs or analysis servers. Checks are performed in the browser as much as possible.

The site may use minimal temporary state in the browser for navigation and returning from Learn articles to Check results, but it is not designed to store specific input values such as text, URLs, or file contents.

The site prioritizes keeping user information from leaving the browser, rather than sending it to external services only to improve detection performance.

Information we do not store

The check process does not send the target information to external AI APIs, external analysis servers, or advertising trackers.

Even when temporary state is used to move from Check results to Learn articles and back, the following specific input values and detection values are not stored.

Meaning and limits of local processing

Processing in the browser makes input less likely to leave the user environment. At the same time, what a browser can inspect has technical limits. Complete metadata analysis or removal for PDFs, Office files, video, audio, SVG, and similar formats is limited in a browser.

This is not neglecting performance; it is a design choice that prioritizes avoiding external transmission. For sensitive files, combine what the browser can check with dedicated local tools described in Learn articles, network-environment checks, and review of the content itself.

Temporary browser storage

To let users return to Check results after opening Learn articles, sessionStorage may temporarily hold minimal abstract state such as overall risk, recommended article slugs, and recommendation reasons.

This temporary state does not include entered text, original URLs, Clean URLs, specific URL parameter values, filenames, file sizes, last modified times, metadata values, or Text Risk values. It stays in the browser on the user device and is not sent to Anonymity Sense servers.

sessionStorage is temporary storage scoped to a browser tab and is cleared when the tab is closed.

If the user chooses to copy a Clean URL, the generated URL is written to the browser or operating-system clipboard by that explicit action. Anonymity Sense does not read clipboard contents.

External communication

The check process does not send input or results to external AI APIs, analysis servers, or advertising tracking services. Required processing is designed to complete in the user browser as much as possible.

Anonymity Sense does not use Google Analytics or other external analytics or advertising tracking. Learn article bodies are served as static HTML and static assets from this site and are not fetched from external services while reading.

Anonymity Sense is statically delivered through Cloudflare Pages. As with ordinary websites, Cloudflare Pages may generate technical access logs needed to deliver pages, article bodies, and static assets, and to support security protection and troubleshooting. This is separate from Anonymity Sense adding app-side analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

External sites and tools introduced in Learn articles have their own operators, network paths, access logs, and privacy policies. Anonymity Sense reviews their effect on anonymity, practicality, and reliability where possible, but cannot control behavior on external sites.

About anonymity

Anonymity Sense aims to help users notice information that may lead to identity inference before publishing, while prioritizing local processing and avoiding unnecessary external transmission.

However, anonymity cannot be completely guaranteed by a single tool. Writing habits, posting times, account operation, past images, search results, files, network environments, and behavior patterns can combine and lead to identification.

That is why the site emphasizes checking the current situation, learning the background in Learn, building understanding step by step in Course, and developing the ability to judge before publishing. Anonymity is not a switch; it is literacy that includes sense and operation.
